Filtration Principle

Oil mist pollutants are first pre-filtered by the polyethylene tear-resistant fabric, which traps large droplets and particles, and serves as the main structural support to prevent filter material damage. Subsequently, fine oil mist particles are efficiently captured by the glass fiber needled felt main filter layer.

Application

It is suitable for industrial environments and high-temperature and high-humidity environments

Typical application scenarios include but are not limited to:

① Machinery Processing Industry: Oil mist and smoke generated by cooling oil and lubricating oil during the operation of equipment such as CNC machine tools, milling machines, lathes, grinders, gear hobbing machines, and screw air compressors.

② Metallurgy and Heat Treatment Industry: Oil smoke mist generated during processes such as rolling, quenching, tempering, and forging.

③ Food Processing Industry: High-temperature oil smoke and moisture generated during frying and cooking.

④ Centralized Ventilation System (HVAC): Used as a pre-filter or post-filter unit in the overall workshop ventilation or air supply system to purify oil mist particles in the air, protect fans and pipelines, and improve the working environment.

Storage

Store in a clean, dry, and well-ventilated environment. Do not stack outdoors or expose to direct sunlight.

Use pallets to separate the filters from the ground to prevent moisture damage.

The storage area shall not contain chemicals, volatile substances, or corrosive substances.

Place according to the marks on the cartons. The stacking height shall not exceed 3 layers or use pallets.

If the storage time exceeds 6 months, re-inspect the filter performance.

Transportation

During transportation, place the filters according to the marks on the packing cartons. The stacking height shall not exceed 3 layers or use pallets, and mixing with other goods is not recommended.

Take fixing measures during transportation. Separate the fixatives from the cartons to protect the cartons.

During loading, unloading, or transportation, operators shall take stable measures to prevent the filters from slipping.

Installation & Precautions

  1. According to the equipment specifications, correctly install the filter in the filter section chamber of the oil mist purification equipment or ventilation system. Ensure the air flow direction is consistent with the direction indicated on the filter label, and the installation frame is well-sealed.
  2. Conduct regular inspection and replacement based on actual usage conditions (e.g., visible blackening of the filter element, oil odor at the air outlet, significant decrease in equipment suction).
  3. Waste filter elements may contain hazardous waste. Dispose of them properly in accordance with local environmental protection regulations.
